Colorful Discovery

Andy said awhile ago, "When you move to Wasilla, think about painting the rooms or changing whatever you want in the house." So Amy thought about the possibilities and decided the harsh white in the main bath, master bedroom and spare bedroom could use some help. She chose a light tan called Brown Bread for the bathroom, and so they gutted that room one weekend and slabbed the Bread around. 

Together, they chose a sage color for the main bedroom and a darker green as an accent wall. A more subtle & softer Cottage White was chosen for the other room. Amy suggested, "Before more new bedroom furniture is delivered, let's paint soon and get it over with." Over the weekend this pair tackled the greens. For awhile Amy painted alone and thought, "This is great--a productive project, instant improvements and relaxing too. Painting is fun, especially with good tunes." But during the second coat, Andy said aloud, "Painting blows. I'm pretty frustrated." 

Amy is planning to tackle the third and final project alone next weekend. Both agree that things are looking great, though.
