Family Vacation Pt. 3: The Badger State

The last stop on the trip was to WI for even more family time.  Before we ventured to Cliff & Kay's house we needed to sneak in a quick Brewer game in Milwaukee. We settled in for a bit of tailgating with a couple of longtime friends, Mike and Rick, prior to watching the Brewer's defeat the Cubs in the 161st game of the season.  Miller Park did not disappoint and the weather allowed for an open roof.  Nice.

Next stop was Gorn's Grandview for some Cliff and Kay time.  I hadn't been to WI in quite some time.  Catching up with the parents was nice and included some relaxing down time and yet more good eats.  Amy seemed to enjoy getting acquainted with the Grandview horses.

The rolling hills of Wisconsin were nice but I have to say that it was a bit strange not seeing mountains on the horizon for 3 weeks.  The warm weather and sunsets were welcomed though.
I also had a chance to catch up with all sorts of old friends at a couple of local J-Town establishments.  It was fun gentlemen.

Thanks again to the parents for having us.  Next time you're coming to Alaska.
